Family Caregiver Expo
Call for Caring has hosted the Atlanta Family Caregiver Expo since 2017. This event, which is held bi-annually in November and has been attended by more than 600 individuals, brings together resources to promote the quality of life for family caregivers. The Expo provides vendors, speakers, virtual dementia tours and self-care activities (e.g. health screenings, mammograms, meditation, manicures, massage). Attendees confer with a Care Ambassador (RN/NP) upon arrival who provides them with tailored roadmap of booths to visit for the day’s events. CFC will bring the inaugural Chicago Family Caregiver Expo to Chicago in June 2024.

Caregiver Day/Night Out
The Caregiver Day or Night Out offers AMA Family Caregivers an activity to reprieve from caregiving and the opportunity for social interaction with other caregivers. Our inaugural event was a Paint and Sip that provided caregivers “the needed” time to step away and enjoy fun, food and fellowship. Companion care for the loved ones of attendees will be provided in-home or with a partnered Adult Day Care. Stay tune for our upcoming events.
